PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome problems with conventional air conditioners that it is difficult to accurately grasp which function is frequently used and which function is infrequently used in an air conditioner although an air conditioner incorporates various functions, there is, therefore, a probability that a frequently used function is eliminated and an infrequently used function continues to remain in an air conditioner in a new product development phase, and that an intention to collect operation information often causes some users discomfort.SOLUTION: An air conditioner comprises: an air conditioner body; an operation unit operating the air conditioner body; a storage unit storing operation information indicating contents of the operation on the air conditioner body by the operation unit; and a storage permission/prohibition switching unit switching over between permission to store the operation information in the storage unit and prohibition of the storage of the operation information in the storage unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
