PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of OBI in uplink transmission in a CATV system and to perform pass-through transmission in a BS-IF/CS-IF band frequency in downlink transmission.SOLUTION: In addition to an HFC type system in which a first optical fiber transmission line is laid from a CATV center station to an optical node device and the optical node device and a subscriber house are connected by a coaxial cable transmission line, a second optical fiber transmission line is laid from the CATV center station to the subscriber house. The coaxial cable transmission line and the second optical fiber transmission line are accommodated, respectively. Within the subscriber house, the subscriber optical receiver is installed by which a downlink optical signal transmitted from the CATV center station is received from the second optical fiber transmission line and outputted to an installed apparatus within the subscriber house as a downlink electric signal by performing optical/electric conversion thereon, and an uplink electric signal transmitted from the installed apparatus within the subscriber house is outputted to the coaxial cable transmission line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
