PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce occurrence of spatter in association with short circuit in pulse arc weldment.SOLUTION: A rising transition current Iu which rises from a base current Ib to a peak current Ip is electrically conducted during a startup period Tu, the peak current Ip is electrically conducted during a peak period Tp, a dropping transition current Ik which drops from the peak current Ip to the base current Ib is electrically conducted during a fall period Tk, the base current Ib is electrically conducted during a base period Tb, and a short circuit current Is is electrically conducted at the time of occurrence of short circuit. When short circuit occurs during the fall period Tk, a rising rate S of the short circuit Is is changed according to timing of occurrence of short circuit. Consequently, when short circuit occurs at an early time during the fall period Tk, the rising rate S of the circuit current Is becomes smaller and a current value at the time of re-occurrence of arc does not become larger, thereby occurrence of spatter can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
