摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tapered roller bearing capable of preventing the occurrence of seizure between a large end surface of a tapered roller and a large flange portion (slide contact flange surface) of an inner ring, and reducing agitation resistance caused by lubricant.SOLUTION: A tapered roller bearing comprises: an outer ring 2; an inner ring 3; a plurality of tapered rollers 4; and an annular holder 5. The holder 5 includes a toric portion 21 on one axial side and a plurality of columnar portions 22 extending from the toric portion 21 to the other axial side and holding the tapered rollers 4 to be circumferentially apart from one another. The inner ring 3 includes a large flange portion 33 provided on the other axial side and having a slide contact flange surface 34 in slidable contact with a large end surface 41 of each tapered roller 4. A through-hole 25 penetrating each columnar portion 22 from one axial side to the other axial side of the columnar portion 22 is formed in the columnar portion 22, the through-hole 25 includes an enlarged hole portion 27 having an enlarged hole cross-section in the other axial end portion, and at least part of the enlarged hole portion 27 is open toward the slide contact flange portion 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
