PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate change of a value of a register used for a ladder program.SOLUTION: A monitoring device includes: a register value storage unit which stores a value of a register used for a ladder program; a register value display unit which displays the value of the register stored in the register value storage unit on a register value display area; a first rewrite input reception unit which receives rewrite input to the register displayed on the register value display area by inputting a value to be rewritten; a second rewrite input reception unit which receives the rewrite input to the register displayed on the register value display area by selecting at least a part of the register value display area; and a rewrite input selection unit which selects any one of the first rewrite input reception unit and the second rewrite input reception unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
