PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an energy recovery device capable of preventing an impact sound from being generated when a filling process finishes or starts.SOLUTION: The energy recovery device includes: a first cylinder unit 9A connected to an enriched water pipe 4 through a first flow path switching mechanism 6A; a second cylinder unit 9B connected to the enriched water pipe through a second flow path switching mechanism 6B; a controller C having a control function of making enriched seawater flow into the first cylinder unit and the second cylinder unit alternately, and a control function of discharging the enriched seawater from the first cylinder unit and the second cylinder unit alternately; and a flow path direction regulation mechanism 11 for alternately filling the first cylinder unit and the second cylinder unit with seawater, and returning high pressure seawater alternately pushed out of the first and second cylinder units, to a membrane separator. The controller controls the first or second flow path switching mechanism to gradually start the discharge when the enriched seawater is discharged from the first or second cylinder unit, and to gradually finish the discharge when the discharge of the enriched seawater is finished.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
