PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding for an automobile which is effective in promoting weight reduction, being excellent in fitting characteristic, at a low cost.SOLUTION: A molding for an automobile is a soft material part extended and formed of relatively soft material, from a base material part which is formed of relatively hard material. A vehicle side has a fitting part in which a bent part is formed along length direction. The molding is for fitting the base material part along the fitting part on the vehicle side.
