PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side gate horizontal retainer which is capable of fixing a side gate in a horizontal state by a simple operation without botheration of storage because of a structure mounted on a vehicle body, and which achieves inexpensive manufacturing costs because rigidity is obtainable with a simple structure.SOLUTION: A side gate horizontal retainer includes: a cradle 20 fixed to a floor system 14; a link mechanism 22 that relatively moves in conjunction with rotation of a side gate 10; a projected member 24 disposed in the link mechanism 22; a rotation piece 26 that rotates between a contact position at which the projected member 24 contacts, and a retreat position at which the projected member 24 does not contact; a positioning means 28 for positioning the rotation piece 26 at the contact position; and a fixing means 30 for attachably and detachably fixing the rotation piece 26 at the retreat position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
