PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow an imaging plane phase difference AF to highly accurately correct an AF in an AF sensor with an influence of a spatial frequency reduced.SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises: first focus detection means that implements a focus detection by a first focus detection signal based on a first imaging signal of a subject image; second focus detection means that implements a focus detection by a second focus detection signal based on a second imaging signal of the subject image; and correction means that generates a correction value of the focus detection of the first focus detection means on the basis of a result of the focus detection by the second focus detection means. In a calibration mode allowing implementation of calibration of the focus detection by the first focus detection means to generate a correction value, a location of a second area of the subject image where the second focus detection means implements the focus detection corresponds to a first area of the subject image where the first focus detection means implements the focus detection, and a second focus detection signal for generating the correction value is an image signal that is generated according to an imaging characteristic of the first imaging means from a second imaging signal of the second area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
