PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dual type wave gear device which can form an excellent mesh condition with each internal tooth gear by appropriately deflecting first and second external teeth different in a tooth number.SOLUTION: An external tooth gear 4 of a dual type wave gear device includes first and second external teeth 7, 8 different in a tooth number, and is deflected like elliptical shape by a wave generator.
