PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material end sag stopping system that can secure durability even in a simple structure at a low cost while enabling compactification of the system.SOLUTION: A material end sag stopping system 30 comprises: a support member 3 attached to a feed extraction device 40 that cuts a material end W1 in a material width direction of a tabular steel plate W into a predetermined shape and supporting the material end W1 when the tabular steel plate W is moved in a material feeding direction F; and a movement member 10 that moves the support member 3 to a non-support position (3B) separated from the material end W1 when the tabular steel plate W is to be cut. The movement member 10 includes an operation member 1 fixed on a top die 4 of the feed extraction device 40 and an oscillation member 2 that holds the support member 3 to oscillate the same in the material width direction around a support shaft 241 fixed on a bottom die 5 of the feed extraction device 40 by interlocking with the operation member 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
