The invention provides a sponge cutting device and belongs to the field of garment making machines. The sponge cutting device comprises a machine frame, a cutting rotation device, a sponge cutting unit and a material receiving device, wherein the cutting rotation device, the sponge cutting unit and the material receiving device are arranged on the machine frame. The sponge cutting device is characterized in that the cutting rotation device comprises a cutting motor and a chain wheel assembly in linkage with a transmission shaft of the cutting motor, and the chain wheel assembly comprises an upper chain wheel set and a lower chain wheel set; a driving wheel of the upper chain wheel set is connected with a driving wheel of the lower chain wheel set through a synchronizing mechanism; an upper crawler belt is arranged on the upper chain wheel set, and a first male die set or a first female die set is arranged on the surface of the upper crawler belt; a lower crawler belt is arranged on the lower chain wheel set, and a second female die set or a second male die set is arranged on the surface of the lower crawler belt; the sponge cutting unit comprises a cutter wheel motor, a cutter wheel set connected with a shaft of the cutter wheel motor and a blade arranged on the cutter wheel set in a covering mode.
