According to the present invention, an oil separator comprises: a housing formed lengthwise in a vertical direction into a cylindrical shape and provided with a space disposed therein; an inflow pipe disposed on an upper surface of the housing to spray mixed gas in which a refrigerant and oil are mixed to the inside of the housing; an oil discharge pipe which is disposed on the lower end of the housing, and discharges the oil separated from the mixed gas out of the housing; and a refrigerant discharge pipe which penetrates a side surface of a lower portion of the housing, and discharges the refrigerant separated from the mixed gas out of the housing. The inflow pipe penetrates the upper surface of the housing in a longitudinal direction of the housing to minimize the diameter of the housing, and is curved or bent in the housing to spray the mixed gas in a circumferential direction of the space in the housing. The refrigerant discharge pipe is installed below the middle of the housing. |
