Disclosed is a black box processing an image. The black box comprises: a camera which takes an image; an encoder which encodes the image; a gathering unit which gathers the encoded image in blocks of a predetermined size of 2^n kilobytes (′n′ is an integer) and operates at an application level to set the remaining portion to a padding; and a recording unit which records the image gathered in blocks into a memory. In case of an emergency, the gathering unit closes the gathering process and the recording unit gathers images gathered until the time of the closing. According to the present invention, a user can access to image data regardless of input and output performance, and recording and deleting speeds can be maintained even when recording and deleting of images in the memory are repeated. |
