This invention provides a statistical-data-generating server device, a statistical-data generation system, and a statistical-data generation method whereby accurate, easy-to-read statistical data that reflects a user-input history is generated. A statistical-data-generating server device (10) in a preferred embodiment of this invention is provided with the following: a server acceptance unit (24); a storage unit (25) that stores a product manipulation history corresponding to user input accepted by the server acceptance unit (24); a population generation unit (27) that generates a population for generating statistical data, said population comprising products based on the manipulation history stored in the storage unit (25); a design-feature-quantity acquisition unit (29) that, for each product in the population generated by the population generation unit (27), acquires a design feature quantity obtained by analyzing an image of that product; and a statistical-data generation unit (31) that generates statistical data obtained by classifying the products on the basis of the design feature quantities acquired per product, said statistical data representing a frequency distribution obtained by using the design feature quantities to classify the products. |
