A video processor (100) for an endoscope is provided with an image memory (130), an image processing unit (144), a display control unit (160), and a recording unit (112). The image memory (130) stores an endoscope image obtained in the past as a sample image. The image processing unit (144) performs image processing that changes the image quality of the sample image in accordance with a selected value that is selected by a user, and creates a processed image. The display control unit (160) displays the processed image on the display unit (300). The recording unit (112) records, as a set value, a value related to the selected value decided upon by the user. The image processing unit (144) performs image processing on an endoscope image on the basis of the set value.
