PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball 2 excellent in flight performance when being hit by a long iron.SOLUTION: A golf ball 2 comprises a core 4, an intermediate layer 6, and a cover 8. The core 4 comprises a center 10 and an envelope layer 12. A ratio (Do/De) of a compression deformation amount Do of the center 10 to a compression deformation amount De of the core 4 is 1.5 or more and 2.5 or less. A ratio (Do/Dc) of the compression deformation amount Do of the center 10 to a compression deformation amount Dc of the golf ball 2 is 1.8 or more. The diameter of the center 10 is 20 mm or less. A difference (He-Ho) between surface hardness He of the core 4 and central hardness Ho of the center 10 is 40 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
