Provided is a medical printer (100) with which a roll paper (P) can be cut by being pulled either upward or downward. The medical printer (100) is provided with: a main body part (102) that accommodates a roll paper; a front face panel (104A) that covers a front face; a movable part (104) that is provided so as to open and close with respect to the main body part; a first cutting part (130) that cuts the roll paper discharged from a discharge port (110) formed by the main body part and the movable part; and a slide part that, in accordance with the opened/closed state of the movable part, causes the front face panel or the first cutting part to slide in the radial direction with respect to the rotational center of the movable part. |
