PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain, for example, a fluid pressure brake device which can reduce oil hammer occurring when assisting a thrust force of a master cylinder.SOLUTION: A fluid pressure brake device includes: a cylinder; an assist piston which is housed in the cylinder so as to reciprocate, faces a fluid chamber formed in the cylinder, and is moved from one side position to the other side in a reciprocating direction by a fluid flowing from a supply source to the fluid chamber to assist a master piston of a master cylinder which generates a fluid pressure for generating a braking force; and a seal member which seals the fluid chamber and can elastically deform. The fluid chamber is divided into a first chamber communicating with the supply source and a second chamber communicating with the first chamber through a contraction passage and the seal member seals the second chamber in a state where the assist piston is in the one side position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
