PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercharging system which can suitably diagnose even an abnormality in which a change appearing in boost pressure is relatively small, and a diagnosis method of the supercharging system.SOLUTION: A supercharging system comprises a waste gate valve 35 arranged at a bypass passage 34 which makes an exhaust gas flow while making it bypass a turbine 31. An electronic control unit 39 which performs an abnormality diagnosis of the supercharging system performs first abnormality determination and second abnormality determination based on an integrated value of a suction air amount and a rise amount of boost pressure in periods of a first determination period from a start of a rise of the boost pressure up to its finish, and a second determination period from a start of an increase of the suction air amount up to its finish.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
