PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricant composition excellent in fuel efficiency and low temperature viscosity and capable of achieving fuel efficiency and low temperature viscosity at -35°C or less while maintaining high temperature high shear viscosity without using synthetic oil such as poly-α-olefin-based base oil and ester-based base oil, or a low viscosity mineral oil-based base oil.SOLUTION: There is provided a lubricant composition containing a lubricant base oil containing a lubricant base oil component having urea adduct value of 4 mass% or less, kinetic viscosity at 40°C of 25 mm/s or less and viscosity index of 120 or more in the amount of 10 to 100 mass% based on the total amount of the base oil, and a poly(meth)acrylate-based viscosity index improver having percentage of a structural unit represented by the formula (1) of 0.5 to 70 mol%, and having kinetic viscosity at 100°C of 4 to 12 mm/s and viscosity index of 140 to 300.
