PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel processing method for water containing heavy waters, which enables suitable recovery of deuterium and tritium from water containing heavy waters which contains heavy waters such as heavy water and tritium water, and to provide a processing device for water containing heavy waters used for the processing method.SOLUTION: The water containing heavy waters is stored in a container made of a ferromagnetic material and is heated under exposure to a magnetic field generated with a permanent magnet or an electromagnet, the heavy waters being formed by substituting at least one of two hydrogen atoms present in a molecular structure of water with deuterium or tritium.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
