A COSMETIC COMPOSITION COMPRISING OF SORBUS COMMIXTA HEDL EXTRACT FOR SLIMMING

The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition containing extracts of more than one ingredient selected from among Llex rudingcha C. J. Tseng, Trapa japonica Flerov, Zizyphus jujuba Mill. var. inermis Bge leaves, Sorbus commixta Hedl, Eclipta prostrata L., and Rhodiola sachalinensis A. Bor as an active ingredient. The cosmetic composition inhibits the synthesis of triglycerides in adipocytes, thereby having an excellent slimming effect. Cosmetics using the cosmetic composition of the present invention is produced by the following steps: preparing a cosmetic composition for slimming, containing more than one extract selected from among medicinal herb extracts of Llex rudingcha C. J. Tseng, Trapa japonica Flerov, Zizyphus jujuba Mill. var. inermis Bge leaves, Sorbus commixta Hedl, Eclipta prostrata L., and Rhodiola sachalinensis A. Bor as an active ingredient; treating each extract sample to adipocyte precursor cells and measuring toxicity in the adipocyte precursor cells; testing an effect on inhibition of triglyceride synthesis; and adding 0.001-10 wt of the extracts of Llex rudingcha C. J. Tseng, Trapa japonica Flerov, Zizyphus jujuba Mill. var. inermis Bge leaves, Sorbus commixta Hedl, Eclipta prostrata L., and Rhodiola sachalinensis A. Bor per total weight of the cosmetic composition.
