PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tracking prevention tool in which tracking hardly occurs even when a leakage current occurs at a contaminated part of an insulation wire, an insulator and the like.SOLUTION: A tracking prevention tool 10 comprises a cylindrical body part 14 formed of silicone rubber which does not generate a carbide during formation of a dry belt and being attached to an insulation wire 12. The tracking prevention tool 10 is formed of the silicone rubber which does not generate the carbide during formation of the dry belt, so that, even when the dry belt is formed, a conductive carbide is not generated, and tracking does not occur. The tracking prevention tool 10 is formed of the silicone rubber having water repellency and the dry belt is, therefore, easily formed compared with the insulation wire 12, so that tracking is prevented from occurring on the insulation wire 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
