PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome problems with conventional EGR control valves that it is necessary to bend opening directions of a gas inlet and a gas outlet, a rotational axis direction of a motor, and an opening direction of a motor accommodation hole each generally at a right angle, it is necessary to set three drawing directions as drawing directions of a casting mold of a housing for casting first and second communication holes, an inlet flow passage, and an outlet flow passage, a casting mold structure is quite complicated, and a housing manufacturing cost is high.SOLUTION: An EGR control valve sets an opening direction of a gas inlet 51 opening in an upstream end of a valve body 7 generally at right angle with respect to an opening direction of a gas outlet 58 opening in a downstream end of the valve body 7, and controls the opening direction of the gas outlet 58 to match a rotational axis direction of a motor and an opening direction of a motor accommodation hole 49, thereby making it possible to decrease the number of drawing directions of a casting mold of a housing 6 from three to two (F1, F2).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 |
