PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor capable of connecting a conduit to an opening portion of a grease supply passage and carrying out conduit attachment work.SOLUTION: An electric motor according to an embodiment comprises: a stator and a rotor; a case; a bearing; and a conduit. The conduit is connected to a grease supply passage formed in the case for supplying grease to the bearing. A recessed portion recessed inward of the case in an axial direction is formed on one axial side of the rotor. An opening portion of the grease supply passage opening to an outside of the case is formed along an inner circumferential surface that extends such that an angle formed between the inner circumferential surface and a rotation axis of the rotor between the surroundings of the bearing and the outer side surface differs from an angle formed between the outer side surface and the rotation axis of the rotor. The conduit is divided into a first duct extending from the opening portion to be along the inner circumferential surface and reaching a joint disposed on the outer side surface, and a second conduit extending from the joint to be along the outer side surface and reaching a grease supply port.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
