PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that, when pollen and soil components deposit on roofs as an effect of weather, the rooftop deposit changes its volume by the influence of weather and, at which time, causes a phenomenon that a substrate waterproof layer and a coating film serving as a protective layer thereof are stretched and cracked; more specifically, to provide a water-based two-pack type coating composition for protecting an asphalt roof waterproof material layer which, when a large amount of pollen and soil components deposit on roofs, forms a protective layer having mud curling-resistant characteristics which prevent occurrence of stretching cracks due to the aforementioned reason.SOLUTION: To provide a water-based two-pack type coating composition for protecting an asphalt roof waterproof material layer, comprising an aqueous coating composition and a curing agent. A polymer contained in the aqueous coating is a polymer containing hydroxyl groups, the curing agent is an isocyanate, and the coating composition forms a protective layer having mud curling-resistant characteristics.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
