The invention relates to a plasma-generating device (1) comprising two electrodes, between which a dielectric insulator is arranged, and a high-voltage source generating an AC voltage, with which high-voltage source a dielectric discharge caused by the the AC voltage can be generated between the two electrodes, in order to form a plasma, every electrode has an electrical conductor, wherein the two electrodes are secured on a carrier element (6), with at least parts of the electrodes being separated only by the insulator, and said electrodes running in the same direction. The carrier element (6) can comprise an air-permeable filter layer (12), on the surface of which the two electrodes are secured, or the carrier element can comprise a frame having securing means arranged on opposing frame sections (7), between which securing means at least one section of the two electrodes is secured. The securing means comprise projecting retaining elements (8) having an insulation coating (9). In addition, the frame sections (7) comprise an insulation layer in a region around the securing means. A two-core cable (10) or a twisted pair cable forms the two electrodes. The electrodes can also be formed by a multi-core cable having adjacent alternating potentials. |
