According to one aspect, the subject matter described herein includes a networkable light-emitting device that includes a light emitting element, a wireless transceiver for communicating with other networkable light-emitting devices to create a wireless network, a memory for storing programs uploaded to the device via the wireless network, and a controller that includes hardware for executing at least one program stored in the memory.
