The present invention provides a method for absorbing and recovering a gaseous iodine generated in a fission molybdenum production process, comprising: absorbing step 1 of absorbing the gaseous iodine by an absorbing module in such a manner where a mixed gas including an iodine generated in the fission molybdenum production process is in contact with the absorption module charged with an absorbent; step 2 of eliminating the gaseous iodine from the absorption module where the gaseous iodine is absorbed in step 1; and step 3 of dissolving the gaseous iodine eliminated in step 2. According to the present invention, the method for absorbing and recovering the gaseous iodine generated in the fission molybdenum production process has an effect where the gaseous iodine discarded after being generated in a typical fission molybdenum production process is absorbed and recovered to be a medical isotope as a resource. |
