The present invention relates to a mobile terminal and a method for controlling the same. The mobile terminal includes a memory; a wireless communication part for the connection of a first website; a touch screen which displays the first web site including a password setting window; and a control part which automatically sets the reside of the password when part of the password to be set by the setting window is inputted, completes the password which is a combination of the part and the residue, and registers the completed password in the first web site. The present invention can provide effects of improving convenience by automatically inputting the entire password even though a user input part of the password instead of the entire password of a specific web site. |
