<p>A stable attenuated measles virus vaccine is obtained by freeze-drying attenuated measles virus from an aqueous medium containing sorbitol. The concentration of the sorbitol in the aqueous medium is between 1 and 10% (w/v.). A less hygroscopic freeze-dried vaccine of more satisfactory appearance is obtained by freeze-drying a medium containing sorbitol and dextran.</p> |
