The present invention relates to an electronic device and a control method of the same. The electronic device comprises: a display unit displaying an object; an input unit sensing a first gesture to the object; and a control unit calculating a change in the input distance of the first gesture and modifying a visual character of the object, displayed on the display unit, according to the change in the input distance. As a result, a user input method can be diversified. As functions of electronic devices can be controlled by an intuitive gesture input of a user, a user input can be convenient. |
