<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer ceramic capacitor which effectively prevents the occurrence of cracks. <P>SOLUTION: A multilayer ceramic capacitor includes: a laminate block 4 formed by alternately laminating ceramic dielectric layers 2 and internal electrodes 3; a pair of cover layers 5 laminated above and below the laminate block 4; a ceramic body 6 formed on both side surfaces of the laminate block 4; and a pair of eternal electrodes 7 electrically connecting with the internal electrodes 3.
