<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a para-type wholly aromatic polyamide fiber superior in fracture elongation. <P>SOLUTION: A fiber is obtained from para-type wholly aromatic polyamide that contains a structural repeating unit (I) represented by the following formula (I) and a structural repeating unit (II) represented by the following formula (II) at a specific ratio. The para-type wholly aromatic polyamide fiber contains 40-60 mol% of (II) with respect to the total of (I) and (II), and has a fracture elongation of 6.0% or more and a tensile strength of 15 cN/dtex or more. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
