A tool for closing a thermostatic radiator valve (TRV) and isolating the water flow. The tool is a valve clamp that isolates the thermostatic radiator valve by compressing the thermostatic radiator valve pin, after the head of the thermostatic radiator valve has been removed. The clamp comprises an upper section and a lower section that are joined together by a threaded shaft and a slide shaft. The lower section has interchangeable bushes that allow the lower section to accommodate different sized pipe work, and the upper section has a circular groove to accommodate the valve pin and secure it in place whilst the lower and upper sections are driven together by rotating the threaded shaft until the valve pin is fully compressed. Alternatively the clamp may be used to isolate an open ended valve. |
