Disclosed is a method of coordinating applications operating on a device, each application can communicate with the servers associated with the application and the servers associated with the other applications that provide other functions. The method starts by receiving information indicative of a function required by a first application, the required function is not provided by the first application and its associated servers. Next, a second application is identified that is capable of providing the required function with the servers associated with the second application. Then communication is initiated with the second application for the first application to utilise the required function provided by the second application. The information indicating the required function may be based on user inputs, and may be received by an application coordinator. The application coordinator may use a look-up table of the functionality of each application to identify an application with the required function. |
