The sensor unit adjusts the frequency and/or phase of the demodulation clock with reference to the synchronization information. |

1. A depth camera comprising:
a sensor unit configured to receive a reflected light and in response thereto to output an electrical sensing signal; and a synchronization information calculation unit configured to calculate a performance index with reference to the electrical sensing signal, and with reference to the performance index to generate synchronization information for synchronization of a demodulation clock for sensing the received reflected light, wherein the sensor unit is configured to adjust at least one of a frequency and a phase of the demodulation clock with reference to the synchronization information, and wherein the performance index comprises a demodulation contrast representing a ratio of a measured amplitude of the received reflected light to a measured offset of the received reflected light. |
