摘要 The present invention relates to a display device with a light source of an organic light emitting diode comprising: an organic light emitting diode and a liquid crystal panel. The organic light emitting diode comprises: a lower substrate, a first thin film transistor and an anode electrode, a light emitting layer, a cathode electrode, and a second substrate. The lower substrate is arranged on a lower part of the liquid crystal panel; provides light; and defines a light emitting area. The first thin film transistor and the anode electrode are formed on the light emitting area of the lower substrate. The light emitting layer is formed on the anode electrode. The cathode electrode is formed on the light emitting layer. The second substrate is attached to the front side of a first substrate comprising the cathode electrode. The liquid crystal panel comprises: an array substrate, a second thin film transistor and a pixel electrode, red (R), green (G), Blue (B), and white (W) color filters, and a liquid crystal layer. The array substrate is arranged on an upper part of the organic light emitting diode device; receives the light from the organic light emitting diode device; and defines a pixel area. The second thin film transistor and the pixel electrode are formed on each pixel area of the array substrate. The red (R), green (G), Blue (B), and white (W) color filters are formed on each pixel electrode. The liquid crystal layer is interposed between the array substrate and the second substrate of the organic light emitting diode.
