The present invention relates to a location based self-organized messaging service system and a method thereof. Provided is the location based self-organized messaging service system comprising: a plurality of service routers which are installed in a different unit space to be a reference point of position recognition for providing a location based service to a mobile terminal, distributes information of the mobile terminal located inside a unit space by the unit, and manages the information; and a first terminal to transmit a post-it message for transmitting data to a terminal located in the unit space of a receiver to the service router installed in the unit space of a transmitter. The service routers transmit the data with an asynchronous messaging method between adjacent service routers by not passing through a separate central server, and transmit the data to the service router of the receiver from the service router of the transmitter. The service router of the receiver transmits the data to a second terminal and temporarily stores the data during time-to-live included in the post-it message if the second terminal is located in the unit space of the receiver when the data is received from the adjacent service router. The service router of the receiver transmits the data to a third terminal which moves the unit space of the receiver if the third terminal moves to the unit space of the receiver within the time-to-live.
