A sloshing suppression apparatus is disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the sloshing suppression apparatus comprises: a plurality of buoyant blocks which have a buoyant force to float in liquid cargo stored in a liquid cargo storage tank and are disposed on the liquid cargo to cover the surface of the liquid cargo; connection belts installed on surfaces of the buoyant blocks to cross the surfaces of the buoyant blocks in a first direction or a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, wherein both ends thereof are extended to the outside of the buoyant blocks; and fastening members to connect the ends of adjacent connection belts extended in an identical direction to connect the buoyant blocks to each other. The connection belts are installed on the upper and lower surfaces of the buoyant blocks, and mounted across the surfaces of the buoyant blocks in the extension directions of the connection belts. The buoyant blocks are arranged to allow the extension directions of the connection belts between adjacent buoyant blocks to be different from each other. Portions of the connection belts are separated from the surfaces of the buoyant blocks to form passing holes between the surfaces of the buoyant blocks and the connection belts, and the connection belts installed on the adjacent buoyant blocks and perpendicularly extended pass through the passing holes. |
