PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crime prevention system that can avoid a risk of encountering an intruder at the homecoming time or the like for safety of single life with a very simple construction and without separately providing any special sensor.SOLUTION: A crime prevention system containing a gate slave machine and an indoor master machine for performing radio communication with the gate slave machine has electric wave intensity measuring means for measuring the intensity of electric waves between the gate slave machine and the indoor master machine. The indoor master machine has a master machine operation input unit for inputting a predetermined operation by an operator, and a master machine controller for controlling the electric wave intensity measuring means to start a measurement after a predetermined time lapse when the master machine operation input unit inputs a start request operation of detection of an intruder, thereby starting the intruder detection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
