PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seismic control structure that enhances degree of freedom of design for a building.SOLUTION: A seismic control structure 5 has an external force absorption damper 20 installed between adjacent columns 3, 3, with a pair of fitting brackets 10, 10 in between. The external force absorption damper 20 comprises a hollow extruded member, which includes a pair of side plates 21, 21 placed leaving an interval and a plurality of ribs 22, 22, ... installed between the pair of side plates 21, 21.
