PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric device arranged so that gas generated from electrodes of power-generating elements can be prevented from worsening an electric performance.SOLUTION: An electric device (lithium ion secondary battery) comprises: power-generating elements each including a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a ceramic separator and arranged by laminating the ceramic separator between the positive and negative electrodes; a sheath material, i.e. laminate sheet; and pressure-applying members. The ceramic separator includes a polypropylene layer and a ceramic layer, and electrically isolates the positive electrode and the negative electrode from each other. The laminate sheet serves to seal the power-generating elements. The pressure-applying members serve to apply a pressure to the power-generating elements. In the ceramic layer, the cross section (S1) of a first hole in a first region (D1) formed by one of a long side direction (Y-direction) and short side direction (X-direction), and a laminating direction (Z-direction) is larger than the cross section (S2) of a second hole in a second region (D2) formed by the other of the short and long side directions and the laminating direction.
