PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power converter capable of reducing high frequency component included in a voltage output from an inverter 13.SOLUTION: In a period from a point when a first upper arm switch SXp and a second lower arm switch SYn are operated to turn ON to a point when a first lower arm switch SXn and a second upper arm switch SYp are operated to turn ON next time, a first operation processing is made to turn ON a first sub switch Ss1 and a second sub switch Ss2. In a period from a point when the first lower arm switch SXn and the second upper arm switch SYp are operated to turn ON to a point when the first upper arm switch SXp and the second lower arm switch SYn are operated to turn ON next time, a second operation processing is made to turn ON the sub switches Ss1 and Ss2. ON operation switching timing of the sub switches Ss1 and Ss2 is variably set in the first and second operation processing based on the current which flows on respective diodes DXp, DXn, DYp and DYn in a forward direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
