PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel battery system and a control method for the same that can prevent conductivity of cooling water from excessively increasing.SOLUTION: A fuel battery system A has a fuel battery stack 10, a cooling water supply pipe 51 which is connected to a cooling water path of a fuel battery stack and serves as a circulation path of cooling water, a radiator 53 disposed in the cooling water supply pipe, a radiator bypass pipe 54 which is disposed in the cooling water supply pipe and through which the cooling water bypasses the radiator, a cooling water pump 52 disposed in the cooling water supply pipe, a thermostat valve 55 for controlling the amount of the cooling water to be supplied to the radiator and the radiator bypass pipe according to the temperature, a housing 56 surrounding the thermostat valve, an ion exchanger 58 disposed in the radiator bypass pipe, and an air conditioner 60 for supplying heat medium to the housing. The air conditioner controls the temperature of the heat medium in the housing to control the temperature of the thermostat valve, thereby controlling the amount of the cooling water to be supplied to the radiator and the radiator bypass pipe.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
