PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a crosslinkable polymer electrolyte which can solve the problem of poor mechanical strength which was a problem in a hydrocarbon-based polymer solid electrolyte film, is improved in proton conductivity as a composite film and further can improve durability and performance when used in a fuel cell; a composite polymer electrolyte film comprising the polymer electrolyte composition; a polymer electrolyte/an electrode assembly and a fuel cell using the composite polymer electrolyte film.SOLUTION: There is provided a crosslinkable polymer electrolyte which contains a structure represented by the following chemical formula 1 and has a crosslinkable chalcone derivative structure in the molecule.
