PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically insulating thermally conductive resin composition having both high electrically insulating property and high heat conductivity in a high thermal conductivity technique of a resin composite material by the combined use of a conductive filler and an insulation filler and having excellent processability, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: There is provided an electrically insulating thermally conductive resin composition which comprises two or more thermoplastic resins (A), one or more conductive fillers (B) and one or more inorganic fillers (C), wherein at least one or more conductive fillers (B) are unevenly distributed in a thermoplastic resin (A1) having high affinity with the conductive fillers (B) and forming a discontinuous dispersion phase, at least one of the inorganic fillers (C) having electrical insulating properties are unevenly distributed in a thermoplastic resin (A2) forming a continuous phase, the blending amount of the thermoplastic resin (A1) forming a discontinuous dispersion phase is 10 vol.% or more and 60 vol.% or less and the blending amount of the thermoplastic resin (A2) forming a continuous phase is 40 vol.% or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
