PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorine-containing elastomer composition excellent in heat resistance, toughness, and electrical characteristic, and an insulated wire and cable using the same.SOLUTION: An insulated wire 10 has an insulation layer 2 made of a fluorine-containing elastomer composition around an electric conductor 1. The composition includes a base polymer containing a tetrafluoroethylene-α-olefin (3-4 carbons) type copolymer (a first fluorine-containing copolymer) and an ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene type copolymer (a second fluorine-containing copolymer), an inorganic filler of a mean particle diameter of 1 μm-10 μm, a silane compound having an epoxy group, and a crosslinking assistant. The blending mass ratio of the first fluorine-containing copolymer and the second fluorine-containing copolymer is 90:10-50:50. The blending amount of the inorganic filler is 60-120 pts.mass relative to 100 pts.mass of the base polymer. The blending amount of the silane compound having an epoxy group is 0.2-2 mass% of the blending amount of the inorganic filler.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
