PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, a method and a program enabling easy confirmation of the contents of a moving image or a still image set.SOLUTION: The image processing apparatus includes detection means and calculation means. The detection means obtains a writing volume in an image.
